2017 Sydney Writers' Festival

The 2017 Sydney Writers' Festival program will be announced on Thursday 6 April.

Tickets will be on sale from 9am on Friday 7 April.  

The 2017 program guide will be in Sydney Morning Herald's 'Spectrum' on Saturday 8 April.

The 2017 Sydney Writers' Festival runs from 22–28 May.

Veep's Armando Iannucci on Spin and Satire

In this very special event, satirist, showrunner, writer and creator of Veep and The Thick of It, Armando Iannucci, will talk to Benjamin Law about comedy and politics in a post-truth world.
